Major Events

Surfmoot

Surfmoot is Victoria’s longest running Rover event. It started in 1931. It is usually held at Eumeralla Scout Camp on the banks of the Anglesea River over the Australia Day long weekend. It is focused around relaxation and having fun at the beach. More info here.

Moist Moot

Moist Moot is a Mount Dandenong Region camp that follows on from Surfmoot camp. It is run by a committee composed of members from the Mount Dandenong Region. It is also another social fun camp. More info here.

Mudbash

Mudbash is an annual motorsport event held over the Queen's Birthday weekend in June. Rovers can build and race buggies of all kinds. Even if you don't like the competitive racing its still a chill weekend away. More info here.

MARB

Metro Annual Rover Ball [MARB] is a party night with a sit down dinner. Each year there is a Theme nominated about six months in advance and dress-up in costume is highly encouraged although optional. Prizes are awarded. More info here.

Gang Shows & Showtimes

Gang Shows and Showtimes are annual youth musicals presented by the Scouts and Guides of Melbourne. They are a fun way for you to express your talent both on and off stage. More info here.

Ski Moot

Ski Moot is a week long stay at the Bogong Rover Chalet near Falls Creek; skiing the Bogong High Plains and getting to know lots of other Rovers from across Australia. More info here.
